# Termin Planung für die Folgewoche Fortschritt
1 21.07.2023
  • Defining the requirements
  • Creating a model for the system
  • 3d Solidworks design and print
  • Set up the components
  • The draft requirements have been done (but it will face lots of correction as we understand)
  • We have an initial model. We have to check that model if it is errorless
  • We remodelled the design. We took all the measurements. Now we will put it in solidworks
  • We started designing it in solidworks
2 27.07.2023
  • Updating the requirements ( First we were told to do the project with Arduino, so we included Arduino in our requirements

and then we were told that Arduino is only be part of the initial testing, not in the main model.
So as we already added the Arduino to our design and work flow, we have to remove it.

  • Updating the model
  • Updating Solidworks design. The Servo holder has to be redesigned
  • Designing all the components (servo, gyro, encoder, solid ring and other components)

in the solidworks to make it a pre production model

  • Make a baugruppe
  • We have to include the PCB in our design (instead of Arduino)
  • We have the initial set of requirements. We updated the requirements.
  • We started redesigning the initial solidworks model.
  • We redisigned parts of the initial 3D design. Servo holder is redesigned.
  • The components (servo, GY35, Encoder, Slip ring) are designed in Solidworks
  • We made a Baugruppe
  • We included PCB and excluded arduino from the design.
Mr. Ebmeyer gave us further instruction. We are following them
  • Update: Mr. Beck returned the solidworks design as there are some issues with that and can't be printed. we are redesigning those parts now.
3 03.08.2023
  • The fitting of the 3D printing parts are done
  • We will now assemble all the components
  • All the hardware construction are done
  • The documentation (both in wiki and SVN are done)

We will work on software & programming of the gyro project

  • We tested the Servo, GY 35 and the Slip Ring. Servo is working fine with the shaft that we made. Slip Ring also has no issue.

But the GY 35 is not working. We need to replace the chip.

  • FC03 is also tested and working perfectly. It can measure the RPM of the servo
4 10.08.2023
  • Adding the SVN link of the code in wiki
  • Check the reason why GY 35 not working
  • Find what kind of System Test we can perform once the System is fully functional
  • Update wiki
  • Update SVN
  • Documentation for the unit test/ component test (servo, gy 35, fc 03, slip ring)
  • Once the system test is done then wire management (manage all the wires from and to the components)
  • Create Bill of Material
  • SVN + Wiki updated
  • Code SVN link added in Wiki
  • BOM is calculated

[Update: 14.08.2023]

  • Our Gyro system needs a new GY 35. Apart from that all the Hardware, electronic components, software, everything is functional.
  • Now we will make a system test. To do that we need to replace the damaged GY 35.
  • We will source the new GY 35

[Update: 15.08.2023]

  • New GY 35 is ordered, it will be delivered within 2 days
  • We are making a system test for the Gyro project. (We will follow the structure of the system test from the Speed Tracker project)
5 17.08.2023
  • We installed the new GY 35, still it is not giving any pulse.
  • We checked all the connection, nothing is there
  • We don't know how to fix this problem
5 17.08.2023
  • Find the datasheet in the internet.
  • Read the datasheet. What does the sensor measure? How to connect?
  • Use a breadboard to test the sensor.
  • Give it the power according to datasheet.
  • Measure with Oszilloscope.
  • 100 mV = 90 °/s
